The Newspaper photographer inside could not be contained. I could not resist going down to Lake View Museum to photograph all the activity surrounding the transit of Venus solar event. I met some very smart folks and they showed me what all the excitement was about. Through the telescope you could see the tiny dot of Venus as it crossed between the Earth and Sun. We sometimes had our view blocked by a passing cloud, but it was very entertaining.
